bo7 bot lobbies Astra Malorum will have already sucked you dry a couple of times. You've likely seen it all. Oscar dying wrong, so the step does not count, planet codes failing two times, the library statuary feeling like guesswork. The Mars eye bird trolling you. And then Caltherus herself, deleting your armor, plus your confidence.
This walkthrough doesn't simply rephrase a list. I will show you how to perform each task, explain why it is effective, and demonstrate the way that the game tests your actions. Let's get from turning on power and beating one of Zombies hardest bosses to relying only on exploits.
\ I. Setup - Power, Pack a Punch, and early game mindset
The game will guide you through the process of turning on power or unlocking Pack-a-Punch by using objective markers. It's important to note how you get to the mid-game in order to find an Easter Egg.
- Try to get power + paP online before rounds 8-10.
- Priority early perk rewards:
- Juggernog first (survive random hits),
- Stamina Up (mobility),
- Then, PHD + double tap as your build becomes online.
- Do not open everything immediately if you are a beginner. If you find yourself constantly red-screening your maps, try slowing down your expansion.
The following should be in place before you start Oscar trap killings:
You should have at least one solid PaP bo7 accounts weapon.
Core perk for basic users
Oscar knows enough about maps to help him navigate the room without panic.
\ II. Getting the Wonder Weapon. Three different traps that kill Oscar
To get the Wonder Weapon (the weapon itself), you have to kill Oscar 3 times with three different trap setups. Each trap death drops a shiny trinket. The Wonder Weapon only appears after the third.
You can set up the three traps any way you like, but they will be presented in a logical sequence.
2.1 Pack-a-Punch - Telescope Sun Laser
Kill Oscar with the telescope trap activated in the PaP area.
The idea is simple: you fire five hissing pipes or valves at a fast enough speed to activate the telescope. After that, you drag Oscar through the trap.
Step 1 – Find and shoot hissing vents
In the PaP, only one pipe/valve at a moment will be:
Emitting Gas
Making a clear hissing,
You can also vent visually.
Valves can include:
Two above the paP on scaffolding.
Underneath the sunken area:
This is the view from 1 looking into the teleporter area.
The corners of the room and the walls are also a good place to put them.
A few on each of the pillars.
What You Must Do:
Shoot five hissing vales in quick succession.
It is timed. Hit one, then locate the next one before the clock window closes.
If you fail:
You can reset your game within the same session, by using the piano device.
Just try again.
Step 2 - Start the trap and activate the telescope
1. When you successfully link five valves the telescope is activated.
2. Bring Oscar into your PaP (Patients and Partners) room.
3. To enter the telescope view, use the piano-like button.
4. Once you have the cursor on the brightest item (the sun), the trap will start.
Step 3 – Kill Oscar with a solar beam
Oscar will take enough damage if you lead him through the trap.
If he glows brightly, explodes loudly, or drops an enticing trinket then it counts.
Important nuance:
You might have heard him not to be cloaked/shielded. In reality:
The trap must have enough power to finish him.
In low rounds (10), his shield usually doesn't matter.
At higher rounds, the health/armor of his character scales. The shield could prevent him taking enough trap damage.
If he's still alive and you're at a high level:
- Chip some health and strip off his shield.
- Then put him in the trap.
2.2 - CryoFreeze + Museum Rocket Launch
Use CryoFreeze with the Museum Rocket Trap to kill Oscar.
Step 1 – Apply CryoFreeze directly to the weapon
- Pack a punch a pistol and apply CryoFreeze ammunition mod.
A melee-weapon with CryoFreeze also works as a crystal step.
Step 2: Shoot Aether crystals to collect three fragments
Aether crystals will be scattered all around the map. CryoFreeze can be used to:
Shooting crystals always produces a small fragment.
- Collect the three fragments.
CryoFreeze is a crystal that drops at a rate of 100% per crystal.
Step 3: Launch the rocket with Oscar.
1. Bring Oscar into the Museum
2. The countdown will begin when you interact with the rocket (5-0).
3. Hold Oscar in the rocket small area until the clock reaches 0.
4. If the damage from traps is enough (again, it's easier on lower rounds), this character will die, explode, and then drop another trinket.
If he is still alive:
- Apply the same logic: chip shield and HP are first on higher rounds. Then try again.
Trap 3 – Custom battery overcharge trap
Goal: Collect all three parts and upgrade the laser trap to a battery overload. Then, use this to kill Oscar.
It's easy to spot the flickering lightpost once you get near it.
It can appear at spawn or to the left, central hubs, Mule Kicks, etc.
If you do not see it, then try driving in the outer lanes.
Install and kill
1. Enter the room with the laser trap that is specific to your map.
2. First time you use it, the first three parts are installed.
3. Bring Oscar into your room.
4. You can interact with the device again to initiate the battery overload.
5. If Oscar is in the room or takes enough damage, the bomb will explode and kill him.
The round may be too high, but you can always try again.
Pre-damage Oscar, and/or break the shield of Oscar while the trap is active.
After this third kill with the trap, he drops Wonder Weapon.
\ III. Planet code, Dr. Thirsten’s mind: Oscar escorts, elevators, and brain exchange
After obtaining your Wonder Weapon, the quest revolves around Oscar’s audio logs and Doctor Thirsten.
3.1 Oscar’s escort, log #20 the Planet – number code
Requirements:
Round 10 (or higher): Below round 10, the step usually doesn't work.
An Oscar on the map.
Subtitles switched on (highly suggested).
How the escort system works
Follow Oscar and slightly off the side.
Oscar can be shot if he is in your line of fire.
While walking, he plays various recordings (each with a number).
You're looking for recording #20.
Recording #20 features a conversation with Thirsten. Thirsten says three names of planets.
Your job:
1. Take note of the three planets.
2. Convert each distance to its order in the solar System.
3. Use the three digits to access the PaP rooms.
The following is an example of a description:
Thirsten says: Mars Uranus Mercury – 4, 7, 1
Entering the code
Pack-apunch machine.
Enter the 3 digits in correct order.
If you have the correct answer, a platform will drop, revealing the key to your cryochamber.
Each round allows you two attempts. If either of them fails, simply flip the rounds and try again.
3.2 Cryochamber and Museum saw: Dr. Thirsten’s Brain
You'll also need the saw you just bought and your newly acquired Cryochamber Key.
1. The museum is a great place to start.
2. As you enter, a small glass case holds a saw.
3. Grab the saw, and smash the glass.
You will then be directed to the bar area that houses the cryochamber.
- Interact with cryochamber utilizing the key + saw.
You'll be able to take Dr. Thirsten's brain.
You can now take Dr. Thirsten’s entire brain with you.
3.3 Slow escort from Juggernog to the teleporter and Brain defense
Juggernog room lockdown
1. Take the brain into the Juggernog rooms, where a container is currently containing a monkey brain.
2. Interact to swap out the monkey brain for Dr. Thirsten’s.
3. This is the start of a lockdown: protect your container until you see the health bar not dropping too low.
It's not brutal; just stay close and clear of zombies.
Once the lockdown ends, you will be able to use the brain again.
Slow escort in teleporter room
When you are picking up the brain your movements become very slow.
This is a useful tip:
Grab the brain when the white flash occurs at the conclusion of the lockdown.
You step out now before the whole new wave starts.
Your goal is the teleporter space:
- Put the brain into the holder.
- Interact in order to attach the device and integrate it with the teleporter.
You can now use the brain in the teleporter to manage your coordinates, book list and launch large events.
\ IV. Mars coordinates + library statues for decoding Neptune
Here, you have to do two things at once:
1. Use the telescope and find the Mars coordinates.
2. Solve the statue-book library puzzle to obtain the Neptune planet orb.
4.1 Telescope, locate Mars and note Declination
Return to the PaP-room telescope:
1. You can aim by using the left side of your telescope.
2. Mars (the planet red in the starfield) will be highlighted.
3. If your screen is locked, you can check the 4-digit Declination in the lower left corner (e.g. 5741).
4. Please write down the four-digit numbers.
In the teleporter's room:
On the main level, there is a device that allows you to enter these 4 digits.
It is possible to see a pair that looks like 05. However, it still counts as 05.
Once you've entered the coordinates correctly, the teleporter is set to Mars.
